How to find anime on your own. The Board |
But i cannot afford to buy CD's...
The internet is a place where you can find almost anything, including anime. Its located on FTP servers, web sites and other networks.
From my personal experience, there are a few easy ways to get the anime :
* Go to my link section, follow the anime links there. You will find a few anime episodes and more importantly, some of those places do also have message boards, which are a very good source of additional links and ftp sites.
* Get Mirc and polaris, learn how to use it and search dalnet and other network for anime channels. That place is a gold mine of anime websites, fservers and FTP servers.
* Open an FTP yourself and use the above places to advertise. Start by gathering a small collection and use that to attract people. As you collection grows, you have a better chance of exchanging leech accounts with other servers, which are where the real treasures are hidden.
* Do CD trades. Its may be slow and can be quite depressing at times when a deal turns out badly, but it is the cheapest way as it just costs the CD's and the postage.
* Do not expect to drown in anime initially, internet tracking is a skill that requires time and patience, looking through the same places over and over again, sometimes finding those valuable hints and links.
